My (one’s) first impression of the Switch was that it was a great little console. The screen was tiny but the controller was pretty good. The games looked good and the system was easy to use. It was a pleasant surprise that it was also a pretty good gaming machine. When it came to gaming, the Switch was a joy. I found myself taken in by the games and the different controls. I loved the way you could pick up and play a game in a matter of seconds. It was a decent console for gaming, but it was the handheld aspect of the unit that really sold it for me. I was constantly using the Switch’s screen to play games and watch movies. I liked that I could play my games without

I’ve always been a fan of the classic Ninja Gaiden series, and have found the latest installment, 10 Second Ninja X, to be a fantastic port. 10 SNSX places you in the role of a ninja, dispatched on a variety of missions that are occasionally interrupted by boss battles. The game is broken up into several chapters, which follow simple narrative beats, with some good voice acting and some fun twists as you progress.

Is there anything better than being a ninja? For 10 seconds at a time, you can be a ninja. Okay, maybe it’d be preferable to be a ninja all the time, but that’s the concept behind Four Circle Interactive’s 10 Second Ninja X. You’ll get to be a ninja for 10 seconds (the duration of a level). You’ve got a sword, ninja stars, and the ability to double leap on your side. This is a game that requires quick reflexes and a lot of patience.

Please accept my apologies.

Each level in 10 Second Ninja X is chock-full of adversaries that you must defeat. They start off as straightforward one-shot robots. Some will develop armour and take two bullets as you advance, while others will have a barrier that you must remove with a ninja star. Ninja stars, by the way, are restricted to three each level. To retake each level, you’ll need strategy, organization, reflexes, and patience. And once more. If you want the three-star rating on all levels, repeat the process.

I tried so hard, and got so far…

The number of stars you earn in the previous level determines which part of the level you may access. With 10 levels each region and twenty stars required to advance to the next, an average of two stars per level is required. Either that, or just earn three stars on all of the levels to make the latter levels simpler! In any case, getting accustomed to the arrangement of each level will take time. Due to how frequently you’ll be a tenth of a second off the next star, 10 Second Ninja X will most certainly take two to three times as long as it should.

Captain Greybeard, pay attention…

The artwork has a really adorable feel to it. It’s almost a strange contrast between the fact that you’re a ninja out killing robots packed with adorable, cuddly animals and the fact that you’re a ninja out destroying robots filled with sweet, cuddly animals. The framerate is also good and steady, which isn’t unexpected given that this isn’t the most technically demanding game. Even yet, when you’re attempting to clear waves of opponents fast, a consistent framerate is always welcome.

The soundtrack complements the sweetness, although it becomes grating after a while. Due to a lack of diversity in the tracks, it may be better to just listen to your own fast-paced music and keep your reflexes on high alert. However, writing is an important aspect of 10 Second Ninja X. It’s endearing and amusing without being obtrusive or invasive. Only after conquering a region, comparable to the global hubs in Crash Bandicoot, is there conversation.

Review – 10 Second Ninja X (Switch)The easiest game of memory I’ve ever done ” data-medium-file=”https://i0.wp.com/waytoomany.games/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/2021080322275600-0C1FB1488AB3FE0E835F3B1D5FD5BCD4.jpg?fit=300%2C169&ssl=1″ data-large-file=”https://i0.wp.com/waytoomany.games/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/2021080322275600-0C1FB1488AB3FE0E835F3B1D5FD5BCD4.jpg?fit=860%2C484&ssl=1″ loading=”lazy” class=”size-full wp-image-121580 jetpack-lazy-image” src=”https://i0.wp.com/waytoomany.games/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/2021080322275600-0C1FB1488AB3FE0E835F3B1D5FD5BCD4.jpg?resize=860%2C484&ssl=1″ alt=”” width=”860″ height=”484″ data-recalc-dims=”1″ data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=”https://i0.wp.com/waytoomany.games/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/2021080322275600-0C1FB1488AB3FE0E835F3B1D5FD5BCD4.jpg?resize=860%2C484&is-pending-load=1#038;ssl=1″ />

The simplest memory game I’ve ever played.

10 Second Ninja X is a fun game to play right now. Similar to Super Meat Boy, it would also be a pleasant game to master. When it comes to checking it out on the move, whether you’re waiting for your coffee or delayed on a bus, there’s no better time than now. The game’s pace is ideal for short play sessions.

Graphics are cute and have distinct characteristics. Everything is clearly identifiable, including the backdrops, foreground, characters, and everything else.

Each level is simple to learn yet difficult to master. Even after you’ve completed most of the levels, you’ll want to go back and complete them all again to get all of the stars and top the scoreboard.

While the soundtrack in 10 Second Ninja X is pleasant, it is monotonous and lacking in variety.

Overall, it’s an entertaining game with a variety of levels and techniques to master. While the game is monotonous, it is enjoyable and simple to pick up and play on the Nintendo Switch.

Final Score: 8.0
