This week, we’re going to check out the first quest of the game, as we tackle a quest that will give us a little insight into the history of the Viking civilization. As you may know, Vikings were a civilization that existed in Earth’s past, and they were a culture that was known for their seafaring skills. They also possessed a lot of knowledge and understanding about science, and they were a seafaring people, which allowed them to travel as far as the North Pole.
In AC: Black Flag, Edward Kenway’s own island is a dangerous place to live. There are all sorts of people there, and not all of them will be friendly or trustworthy. Sometimes, it’s best to stay away, especially when you’re trying to raise an army to take on the Templars.

Range of first impact position
Go north to reach the scene of Wulfhilda’s murder. The location is shown on the map and is marked with a quest icon.
Kill the wolves
When you get there, you will see three wolves. Kill them all.
Talk to the woman you just saved. She’ll tell you it was Hrothgar who killed the cattle.
En route to Brislea
Follow Wulfhilda to Brislea, the base taken by Hrothgar and his Danish clan.
When you arrive at this place, you will see that all clan members are dead.
Exploring the ground
If you look up, you will see a stuck ladder. Use Odin’s scope and pull the light part to go down the ladder.
Go up the stairs and you’ll find a wounded Hrothgar. He’ll tell you Jotun killed his men.
Stay alert
When you’re ready to fight, interact with the ground to keep an eye on it.
Grendel defeat
Grendel is pictured below. In fact, he is a young man who is much larger than the others.
Here you must defeat Grendel. You can sneak up on him from above.
The quest ends after defeating Grendel.
