The world of eSports gamers are gearing up for a new competition. Nickelodeon has announced a new league for its ‘All-Star Brawl’ tournament, and it will be a battle of the best young gamers. The event will be taking place in Los Angeles on Aug. 11. During the tournament, gamers will compete with their favorite games, and the winner will be able to take home a prize of $25,000.
As part of the release of the newest Nickelodeon game, Zoey 101, the network has announced a special game mode called “Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.” The game mode will be released on the game’s launch date, January 10th, but fans will have to wait until January 17th to get an early peek. But in the meantime, the network has released a trailer that shows the game will allow players to play as their favorite characters from the hit show.
Players can take on their favorite Nickelodeon characters with the release of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl from Ludosity, Fair Play and GameMill Entertainment.
This game features characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rugrats, The Loud House, Invader Zim and other Nickelodeon games. For fans of the series, the game also includes 20 themed levels, from SpongeBob SquarePants’ Jellyfish Field to Ninja Turtles’ Technodrome.
Just like in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. action game series, players can compete against their friends locally, up to a maximum of four players. The game also includes a competitive online multiplayer mode.
