Call of Duty Warzone is one of the latest video games to receive a patch in regards to the popular Call of Duty: WW2 multiplayer. In addition, the patch notes include some more detail on the new mode, known as “Operation Fuse.” Operation Fuse is a new round-based mode that pits teams of three players against each other over a series of rounds.
Hi folks, I’m here to bring you the latest patch notes for the Call of Duty: Warzone August 20th update. The patch is scheduled to go live on August 20th at 7AM PT. The patch notes are where you’ll find the details on the changes made to your favorite multiplayer modes.
Call of Duty Warzone is the latest first person shooter game to be released by Activision and has been met with mixed reviews from players, with some saying the game has issues with its gameplay and others saying it is a great game for new players to get into the Call of Duty franchise.
A new Call of Duty Warzone update for August 20 is now available, and we’ve included the entire patch notes below. More weapon balance, bug fixes, and an upgrade to the High Alert perk were all included in this release. There have also been some changes to the Season 5 patch notes. Patch Notes for Call of Duty: Warzone on August 20 (Season 5)
According to Raven Software, the Warzone update is now live for August 20, and parts of the Season 5 patch notes have been updated.
The High Alert perk has been updated to enable the player to hear the footsteps of adversaries while utilizing the Dead Silence Field Upgrade, as seen below (only in Warzone). Several bugs have been fixed, including several collision problems that allowed players to head glitch and get unfair positions. The problem with the ZRG 20mm scope glass becoming white while left idle has been resolved. The Fennec (MW) has a problem with bullets not following the correct trajectory patterns.
In terms of weaponry, the C58 is an abbreviation for (BOCW) has increased recoil, a 7.4 percent increase in maximum damage range, a 3.4 percent reduction in ADS speed, and an 8.1 percent decrease in bullet velocity. The EM2 is a fictional character (BOCW) has a lower Upper Torso multiplier and a slower Base Optic ADS Speed. The minimum damage of 6 Krig (BOCW) has been reduced by one damage point, while the maximum damage range has been reduced by 7.2 percent.
Gameplay
Perks:
- Slot 2 – High Alert (Red)
- Using the Dead Silence Field Upgrade, this Perk now allows the Player to hear the footsteps of adversaries.
- This modification is just for Warzone.
Bug Fixes
- Players were able to exploit/peek/shoot through more collision problems with different objects throughout Verdansk, allowing them to exploit/peek/shoot through them.
- When the ZRG 20mm (BOCW) scope glass was kept in the idle position, it appeared white.
- Players who were utilizing the Warzone client in languages other than English were unable to access the Store Tab.
- The Blueprint dynamic icon for the “Puncture Wound” Nail Gun (BOCW) was fixed.
- The Fennec (MW) no longer ignores its correct ballistics trajectory due to a bug.
- Players were unable to put a sticker on the Cane due to a bug (BOCW).
- Various problems with giving the Season Five Battle Pass have been resolved.
Weapons
Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon
- C58 (BOCW)
- Recoil has risen.
- The maximum damage range has shrunk by 7.4%.
- The ADS Speed has dropped by 3.4 percent.
- Bullet velocity has dropped by 8.1%.
- EM2 (BOCW)
- Base Optic ADS Speed penalty was reduced by 21%.
- The Upper Torso Multiplier fell from 1.1 to 1.
- Krig 6 (BOCW)
- The minimum damage has been reduced from 26 to 25.
- The maximum damage range has shrunk by 7.2%.
The Battle of Verdansk is a one-time-only event.
Prepare to form a team, intercept the objective, and neutralize it.
This event will take place from August 19th to August 23rd at 10 a.m. Pacific.
