It was a chance to breathe a sigh of relief after a busy week when I finally booted up Assassin’s Creed: Unity on PS4. The game was released just over a year ago, and it wouldn’t be fair to judge it solely on the achievements available, or on the fact that it’s become a bit of a punchline for fans of the series. Let’s be honest, the game’s main gameplay is still excellent, and now that its main storyline has come to an end, it’s at last time to look back at what it’s brought to the table.
The Hidden Ones were worldwide, attempting to keep humanity’s best interests in mind and ensure they were not led astray. But their enemies were everywhere and drove them from their bases, including the Hidden Ones operating in Francia. In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s The Siege of Paris expansion, there are three Hidden Ones bases that you’re going to need to find to access their prized treasures. This guide details how to complete the quest Hidden and find all Hidden One key locations. You do need The Siege of Paris expansion to access this content.
Diodurum Ruins, Champlieu Ruins, and Gisacum Ruins are the three major Hidden Ones locales in Francia.
The main location of the Hidden Ones in the Dioduruin Ruins
A Hidden Ones’ key may be found under Dioduruin Ruins, close to a book of wisdom.

You may get the key by jumping into the water from the synchronization point at the top of the ruins. Then, to get to the site, you should notice an underground door that you may dive through.

Following the way inside, you’ll come to a blocked-off area with a gap below you that goes to the sea. Follow the route to the right after passing through the hole. It should lead you around the blockage and to the other side. You’ll find an explosive jar that you may pick up and hurl against a breakable rock wall to gain entrance to the Hidden Ones’ lair. Inside the secret room, the key will be on a table.

The crucial site in Gisacum Ruins for the Hidden Ones
Gisacum Ruins is where you’ll find the next Hidden Ones’ key. This site is north of St. Taurinus Tavern in Evresinm.
A couple of French soldiers will be roaming about the area at the bottom of the ruin when you arrive. You may deal with them in whatever way you choose. However, after you’ve done with them, search for a breakable wooden floor that leads to the Hidden One’s lair’s subterranean entrance. To the right of the stairwell, the fragile floor should be.

The numerous rat swarms that have grown up in these locations will be the primary issue you’ll be dealing with from here. It’s as simple as swinging your weapons about and leading them to the sewage grates on the ground. You should be able to continue ahead after they disperse into the grate, but they will return after a little while. The key will be on the table at the rear of the secret lair. It is, however, in an area where there is no sewer grate. You’ll need to pace your swings to drive the rats away, then grab the key before the swarm catches up to you. When you receive damage, the interaction is paused, and you are unable to hold the key.
Champlieu Ruins is a crucial site for the Hidden Ones.
Champlieu Ruins contains the last ruins holding the Hidden Ones’ key. It is located to the east of Paris.

The location will be empty when you arrive. There will, however, be a pair of dead guards right next to a weak wooden floor that you may shatter, exposing a tunnel through which you can leap. This is where the last Hidden Ones’ key will be found.

When you get to the bottom, there will be a tiny opening with a rat swarm on the other side that you may slip through. Push them into the sewer with your weapon, then take the explosive jar on the opposite side of the room. After that, there will be another grate through which you may dive and then return to the entrance. Finally, to your right, there will be a breakable wall that you may demolish with the jar, exposing the last key.
The Hidden quest will be updated, and the site of the Hidden Ones’ office will be in Paris.
The Paris office of the Hidden Ones
The Hidden Ones’ bureau, unlike the other sites, will not be marked on the map. Instead, you’ll have to look for it in Paris.
The area you wish to visit is in the southwest section of Paris, just south of the city’s Plague District. The Lutetia Bureau is located there.

When you get close enough, you may use your raven to locate the precise spot, which should be a big open hole that you can leap into. When you get to the bottom and continue the route, you’ll come upon a door that requires all three keys to open. If you don’t have all of the Hidden Ones’ keys from the previous places, you won’t be able to unlock these doors.

Once you’ve entered the site, continue the route to a huge, gloomy chamber filled with swarms of rats. Your main objective will be to reach the bottom, where a breakable rock door awaits you. The explosive jars on the upper right of the region are the only method to open it. You must first eliminate the rats from the area before you can reach the pots. To get to the bottom, you’ll have to hop on the exterior of the chamber.

Place the pot on the wooden platform after pushing the rats back from where you discovered the explosive jar, then hop to the next position and force the rats into the sewers. You can’t bring the explosive jar over until they’ve gone, or else they’ll assault you and make you drop the pot. After that, you may walk to the edge of the chamber and leap on a succession of platforms to get to the bottom. To avoid the rats on the lowest level, stay on the right side of the room once again. The jar may then be placed in front of the rock wall and destroyed, allowing you to access the chest on the other side, which is encircled by vipers.
Return to the bureau’s entrance to finish the mission, where you’ll discover a note indicating that not all of the Hidden Ones have departed Francia.
Hidden is an easy game to admire, and yet it is incredibly difficult to fully enjoy. The beauty of the game is in its maddeningly strategic challenges. Until you solve a puzzle, it is not clear what you need to do. It is not clear whether you are in the right place, or whether you are missing a key component.
